About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the implementation of our SAP S/4HANA project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of this critical project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones.
  • Establish strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving issues through collaboration.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues, ensuring project objectives are met.
  • Manage day-to-day project challenges, including technical issues, resource conflicts, and delays.
  • Facilitate clear communication between SAP consultants, IT teams, and business users to ensure alignment and address concerns promptly.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and project challenges, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources allocation is optimized.
  • Oversee critical testing phases, such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Plan and manage go-live activities, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 8 years leading projects of varying complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing and delivering complex, multi-vendor ERP implementation projects on time and within budget.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP implementations is highly preferred, particularly in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Prior experience in the consumer package goods (CPG) or food manufacturing industry is desired.
  • Proficient in using project management tools for planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting for IT-system delivery projects.
