Job Summary

We are seeking an Insurance Producer to join our team in Austin, TX. As an Insurance Producer, you will be responsible for selling insurance products to educators and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Marketing
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Build and maintain relationships with educators and their families
    • Present insurance products and services to potential customers
  • Product Knowledge
    • Stay up-to-date on insurance products and services offered by Horace Mann
    • Develop expertise in insurance products and services to effectively communicate with customers
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to educators and their families
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Business Development
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, administrators, and other business partners

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or marketing
  • Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or a related field
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Resident General Lines - Life and Health license and Property and Casualty license
