Fastening Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fastening Engineer to support major fastening initiatives at various manufacturing plants within North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ordering fastening equipment and ensuring seamless communication between tooling suppliers and plant software systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing requirements and standards
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with tooling suppliers
• Ensure effective communication between plant software systems and tooling suppliers
• Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing
• Strong foundation in fastening, torque, or error proofing
• Ability to travel to different North American manufacturing plants
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
• Experience with creating Pivot charts, Gantt charts, and timelines
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Prior experience working with tooling suppliers
• Experience with cradle-to-grave tooling development
• Knowledge of CEC or Red Viking for error proofing
• Experience with DC tooling, tools net, or tool tracker
