Job Summary

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities and equipment are in good working order. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on hotel equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify potential issues and prevent problems
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality guest experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or college coursework in a related field preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a hotel or related field; experience with maintenance and repair of hotel equipment a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment
