Kettering Health Network is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Deliver Exceptional Patient Care: Provide direct patient care within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, ensuring accurate and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care.
- Implement Care Plans: Implement plans of care initiated by the Nurse Manager and Clinical Coordinators, updating medication profiles as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Participate in coordination of care, reporting identified needs for other disciplines to the Nurse Manager, and performing drug regimen reviews at every visit.
- Administer Medications: Perform medication administration per policy and procedures, educating patients/caregivers in administering medication, including infection control.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Follow infection control guidelines, demonstrate appropriate use of PPE, perform hand washing per policy, and dispose of hazardous waste according to policy.
- Meet Productivity Standards: Meet productivity expectations and adhere to agency policies and procedures.
