At Dignity Health Medical Foundation, we value teamwork and collaboration. As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians and providers throughout California to provide comprehensive healthcare services.

Job Summary

Under direct supervision, you will be responsible for various duties that initially start at an entry-level of responsibility and eventually include training and skill in all appropriate areas of Case Management.

Salary Information

The estimated hourly salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process verification of eligibility, data entry, authorizations, and out-of-area referrals.
  2. Manage telephone calls and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
  3. Support UM Specialist in the prior authorization process and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  4. Collaborate with Woodland Clinic Medical Group and other physician office staff to educate them on the authorization process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years related work experience in health insurance filed (HMO experience).
  • Equivalent of four years of high school educational background.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9, and CPT coding.
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and contractual agreements, effective customer relations, telephone etiquette, computer operations, common office equipment, and organization.
