Position Overview: Event Operations Supervisor

The Event Operations Supervisor is a vital part-time, hourly compensated role that plays a key part in the successful execution of events at our facility. This includes overseeing event transitions, managing the movement of equipment within the venue and surrounding areas, and performing various related tasks.

In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison for designated events, including team practices and other activities, while reporting directly to the Event Manager.

This position offers an hourly compensation ranging from $14 to $16.

As a part-time employee, you will have access to benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan along with matching contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dismantling of assigned events and activities
  • Transport event-related equipment and materials throughout the venue and its vicinity
  • Act as the facility representative during events; conduct pre- and post-event inspections to assess facility conditions; enforce policies and procedures; address challenges and guest concerns; engage in effective problem-solving
  • Resolve issues during event setup and execution to ensure all arrangements are precise and sufficient
  • Oversee operations and support staff, including housekeeping, setup, utilities, maintenance, security, and event personnel
  • Manage service contractors effectively
  • Anticipate and fulfill customer needs in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Foster and maintain productive relationships with staff, contractors, and venue users
  • Make informed decisions aligned with company policies under pressure and respond promptly
  • Operate and drive venue vehicles to assist with event transitions
  • Navigate between various areas of the venue for event setup and management
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as directed

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-driven with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of making operational and managerial decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Possess a valid driver's license
