Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Administration: Overseeing the management of RedHat Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Patching: Conducting regular RHEL OS patching to maintain system integrity and security.
  • Scripting: Developing and maintaining shell and Python scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • AWS Management: Utilizing AWS EC2 for cloud infrastructure management, with experience in AWS patch manager being advantageous.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Implementing Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Configuration Management: Utilizing tools such as Ansible or Puppet for system configuration and management.
  • Monitoring: Familiarity with Datadog for system monitoring and performance tracking is a plus.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in RedHat Linux OS administration.
