Key Responsibilities

Arrange serving areas with both hot and cold food selections following established protocols. Deliver food to customers with professionalism and accuracy. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of tables, serving areas, and food service tools. Prepare and serve items from the grill menu as requested. Manage cash register operations and maintain accurate cash records in accordance with departmental standards. Monitor inventory levels, record temperatures, and contribute to the department's quality assurance initiatives. Assemble patient trays accurately and promptly, portioning food and beverages for meal service. Disassemble returned patient trays, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment, dishes, trays, and carts before and after meals. Prepare dishwashing equipment for use and ensure cleanliness post-operation. Operate dishwashing equipment to guarantee effective cleaning, sanitizing, and drying of all dishware, pots, pans, and utensils. Sort and organize all dishes and utensils according to standardized procedures. Qualifications

Required:

Food Handler Permit

Ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions.
Strong communication skills with colleagues and management.
Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to remain on feet throughout the day and possess good hand-eye coordination.

Physical capabilities to bend, stoop, squat, climb, and reach above shoulder height.

Ability to crouch, kneel, and maintain balance.

Proficiency in using both hands simultaneously.

Preferred: High school diploma or GED
Prior experience in food service roles.
Experience with cash handling for dining center responsibilities.
