Deli Counter Team Member

We are seeking a skilled Deli Counter Service professional to join our team at Hunger Mountain Cooperative Inc. As a key member of our deli team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food products, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail. You should also be physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt, friendly, and helpful customer service at the deli counter, including taking and fulfilling orders for espresso drinks, slicing meats, sandwiches, and services offered at the deli counter.
- Help the Deli meet goals for sales, margin, labor expense, and customer service by adhering to standards and guides of Deli policies.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Deli Manager, including attending departmental meetings and being responsible for safety in the workplace.
We offer a competitive salary range of $16.20 - $20.25 per hour, depending on experience. You will also have access to a paid time off benefit and be eligible for the employee discount on most Co-op purchases.
