Job Summary

C.S. Contract Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Material Control Specialist to join our team in Middlesex, VT. As a key member of our Purchasing & Material Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistics of repaired materials, warranty checks, and ensures equipment is repaired in a timely fashion.
  • Process requisitions for materials needed by employees and contractors as directed by management.
  • Handle customer needs at the counter and/or cable yard timely and efficiently.
  • Unload and receive materials, including central office, business systems, exempt, miscellaneous project, and Outside Plant materials.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • 2+ years of experience in material control, inventory management, or related field.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with regard to inventory control.
  • Forklift certification within 30 days of employment.
