Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer accounts in accordance with governing instrument terms and customer needs.
  • Communicate with customers, agencies, and organizations regarding account matters.
  • Maintain awareness of new business opportunities and advise on proposed plans.
  • Analyze beneficiary needs and coordinate trust funding.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for trusts.
  • Establish and maintain client data.
  • Consult with trust attorneys on legal documents.
  • Approve discretionary payments and beneficiary requests.
  • Initiate and assist in account marshalling and funding.
  • Interact with subordinates, peers, and managers.
  • Comply with company policies, state laws, and regulations.
  • Verify customer identity and maintain records.
  • Report suspicious activity and participate in annual BSA/AML/OFAC training.
  • Perform personnel functions, including performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
  • Supervise employee activities and provide training.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of state trust compliance regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in computer operation, word processing, and spreadsheet programs.
  • Typing skills to meet production needs.
  • Intermediate math skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and multitask.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance if required to drive.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to deadlines and ability to delegate tasks.
  • Capability to work independently and with a team.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Licenses: Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA)
