Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Management System (EMS) Compliance: Ensure conformance to environmental regulations and company environmental policies and guidelines.
  • Risk Management Program (RMP) Compliance: Ensure facility compliance with RMP/PSM program.
  • Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation: Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plant to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Air Permitting and Reporting: Prepare and submit air permit applications and reports as required.
  • EPCRA Reporting: Ensure compliance with EPCRA reporting requirements.
  • Storm Water Pollution Prevention: Develop and implement storm water pollution prevention plans to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Spill Prevention Controls and Countermeasures: Develop and implement spill prevention controls and countermeasures to prevent environmental incidents.
  • Hazardous Waste Management: Ensure compliance with hazardous waste management regulations.
  • Process Safety Management (PSM): Develop and implement PSM programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Management of Change (MOC): Manage the MOC process to ensure compliance with PSM regulations.
  • Compliance Audits: Participate in compliance audits to ensure facility compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are aware of environmental regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in environmental management, process safety management, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Certifications: Possess certifications such as ISO 14001 or OSHA 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program.
