Position Summary

The Financial Planning and Analysis role is integral to supporting the Finance and Accounting team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for various entities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and track historical and current financial performance and key metrics across revenue, costs, expenses, and capital investments.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting tools.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly financial statements.
  • Perform return on investment calculations for capital projects and new initiatives.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze intricate financial data to provide timely recommendations for management.
  • Assist the Accounting team during the monthly closing process.
  • Help prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial discussions and presentations.
  • Support financial assessments for potential acquisitions.
  • Create presentations for the management team.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other financial software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-driven with the capability to manage competing tasks effectively.
  • Critical thinking skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
  • A commitment to excellence, a positive demeanor, and a strong work ethic.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Working Environment/Physical Requirements
  • Office-based role.
  • Position involves prolonged periods of sitting while using a computer.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in finance is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background checks is required.
