Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of highly complex clients with unique needs, providing proactive and personalized support to drive growth and retention.
  • Lead the Service Team, providing day-to-day management and development, and overseeing the implementation of operational strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for the Service Team, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and internal team members on compliance topics, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, and Health Care Reform.
  • Champion client cross-selling initiatives and develop customer accounts, driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic, timely, and effective risk management and benefit programs that deliver bottom-line financial impact.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry, with a strong understanding of employee benefits and compliance regulations.
  • Previous managerial experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service and leading high-performing teams.
  • College degree preferred, with a strong focus on business, finance, or a related field.
  • Must hold a life and disability insurance license or be willing to obtain one within 4 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
