Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Control Equipment Assembler. This role involves working with various components to create and finalize assemblies for control systems.

The hourly compensation for this position is $19.50.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize engineering drawings and specifications to complete the assembly and wiring of control equipment.
  • Identify necessary components and materials, preparing requisitions to procure them from inventory.
  • Prepare wiring for assembly by cutting, stripping, and attaching terminals.
  • Operate power tools, including battery-operated and compressed air tools.
  • Assemble, wire, adjust, and modify parts and sub-assemblies to create complete control assemblies.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and using ladders as required.
  • Conduct checks on the electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Report any irregularities or equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Capable of working independently without direct supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet usage.
  • Willingness to work overtime on weekdays and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds at various heights.
