Surgical ICU Charge Registered Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a leader in our Surgical ICU department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients in your unit
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
- Provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN Preferred
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the following units: Progressive Care, ICU, SICU, CVOR, PACU, EP, Endo, and ER
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department
- CPI training required within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
