General Surgery Position - Community-Based Practice

Permanent Placement Resources, LLC is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a skilled general surgeon or a recent graduate from a residency program. Candidates must have completed a residency in General Surgery accredited by the appropriate governing bodies.

Applicants should possess certification from the American Board of Surgery or an equivalent recognized board. Those who are not board certified at the time of application but have completed their residency or fellowship training within the last five years are still eligible for consideration. However, to maintain eligibility, these candidates must achieve board certification in their primary specialty within five years of completing their training and uphold certification as required by their specialty board.

This role is situated in a picturesque community known for its outdoor recreational activities, including hunting, fishing, boating, and skiing. The area offers affordable housing and various community amenities such as:

Reason for Recruitment
Due to community needs and the pursuit of a Level III Trauma Designation, we are seeking two general surgeons to enhance our current team. This community-oriented practice provides both inpatient and outpatient surgical care, along with clinical consultations. The surgeons will be part of a financially stable multispecialty group associated with a prominent health system, ensuring a wide range of general surgery cases, including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and various bread-and-butter procedures. Subspecialty support is readily available if required.

Opportunities for teaching and leadership roles within the organization may also be available.
