Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker PRN Specialist to join our team at Wilson Medical Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate assigned patients to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote mental health and well-being.
  • Function as a primary contact for treatment and discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
  • Promote implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule to create a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health and/or substance abuse.
  • Strong data entry skills using Electronic Medical Records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment and communicate with patients, families, and caregivers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred: Licensed to practice as a clinical social worker.
  • BLS certification required, or obtained during the first week of hire.
