Position Overview:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing courses covering essential topics such as nursing processes, critical thinking, pharmacology, and therapeutic communication.
- Provide hands-on clinical, simulation, and laboratory instruction to nursing students.
- Assess student performance in both classroom and clinical environments.
- Employ diverse teaching methodologies to foster critical thinking among students.
- Develop instructional materials aligned with course objectives.
- Contribute to the establishment of course goals and standards.
- Incorporate innovative simulations and technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Engage in continuous professional development activities.
- Participate in the evaluation and improvement of program components.
- Maintain current expertise in the relevant teaching area.
- Adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
- Workload will be determined based on programmatic needs.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Nursing and valid licensure or eligibility to practice as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- A minimum of two years of full-time nursing experience or its equivalent within the last five years.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of full-time teaching experience in higher education.
Compensation:
Salary range is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
