About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including unit dose medications, compounds, and sterile IV admixtures.
  • Fill unit dose patient cassette units and perform computer order entry.
  • Provide technical support to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist with answering department telephones and responding to inquiries.
  • Perform computer entry for missing doses, patient charges, and credits.
  • Deliver or restock medications and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician certification.
  • Intravenous certification.
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy-related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One-year vocational/technical school degree (preferred).
  • 20-hour ACPE-accredited IV training course (required within 90 days).
