Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a vital role in our organization's mission to provide high-quality behavioral health services to children and families. As a BHT, you will be responsible for implementing intervention strategies with clients, demonstrating initiative and responsibility for pursuing therapeutic resources, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement intervention strategies with clients to promote positive behavioral change
  • Demonstrate initiative and responsibility for pursuing therapeutic resources to support client needs
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff
  • Complete daily billing information and data collection
  • Participate in team meetings and share responsibility for maintaining team meeting documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year direct care experience or one year supervised practice in lieu of the experience requirement
  • Certification as a BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT, or a behavior health certification or behavior analysis certification from an accredited organization
  • High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List
  • Clearances: Pennsylvania State Criminal History Report, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Criminal History Report
Training and Development:
