Job Overview

Thermon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Site Representative to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and implementing organizational safety programs to ensure the health and safety of employees.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in safety management, with a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in the warehouse and manufacturing industry. A degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or Social Sciences is preferred, and certifications such as BSP Certified, OSHA, or related health and safety certifications are desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety programs to prevent injuries and illnesses
  • Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with management to mitigate hazards
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Review and update institutional HSE policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Collaborate with operations management and personnel to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
  • Manage and work with workers' compensation on site incidents
  • Audit local facilities to ensure compliance with company programs, policies, and federal/state regulations
  • Provide support and guidance to management on federal and state compliance regulations and monitor regulatory changes
  • Coordinate, implement, and document HSE required training
  • Practice and reinforce safe work practices through behavioral observation and training
  • Offer innovative solutions and leadership support to solve difficult issues and partner with local leadership to implement resolutions
  • Participate in teams to analyze, develop, improve, and execute programs and policies that align with company goals
  • Monitor injuries/illnesses and worker's compensation claims
  • Compile and maintain safety statistics, analyze incident data, and prepare advisory or alert communications
  • Establish, implement, and support local safety committee meetings
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional safety experience in warehouse and manufacturing industry
  • Associate degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or Social Sciences, preferred
  • Certifications: BSP Certified, OSHA, or any other related certifications in health and safety, desirable
