Job Title: Building Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds at a facility in Durham, NC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review assigned work orders and inspect fire alarms & HVAC systems
  • Oversee minor electrical work and respond to emergency situations quickly
  • Assist with a variety of tasks and be flexible to meet the needs of the facility
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 2+ years of building/facility engineer experience in a large, fast-pace corporate office environment
  • Excellent communication and ability to comprehend and interpret instructions
  • CFC Certification and Electrical Certification
  • Knowledge of chillers, boilers, and air handlers
  • Experience with a BMS (building management system)
