Position Overview

Global Guardian's Asset Security Division is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our fast-paced Charlotte, NC office as a Security Operations Center Operator. This role offers the opportunity to cross-train in video monitoring, intrusion detection, FA, and asset tracking, and to work with a dynamic team of security professionals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Dispatch local authorities when necessary
  • Utilize event-driven Artificial Intelligence to handle life-saving situations
  • Respond to events and alarms for Video Monitoring, Intrusion detection, FA, and Asset Tracking
  • Conduct site guard tours and immediate response to panic alarms
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare incident reports for any events
Experience / Requirements
  • 1-3 years' experience in the security industry preferred
  • Military and/or security background preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and has a strong work ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other corporate team members and operational team members
