Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Cleaning Programs and Standards: Develop and maintain cleaning programs for designated areas, ensuring a clean and attractive environment for our guests and employees.
  • Training and Development: Train and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Recommend and document disciplinary actions for housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Supply Management: Requisition and manage supplies and equipment for the housekeeping department within established budgetary guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Promote excellent customer service and ensure that all guests and employees receive a high level of service.
  • OSHA Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines, including the Right-To-Know Act and Blood-Borne Pathogens.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among housekeeping staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three to five years of experience in professional office management, cleaning environment, and/or cleaning of large public areas facilities.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, strong organizational and leadership abilities, ability to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
