We are seeking a skilled Neonatologist to join our team at Desert Regional Hospital in Palm Springs, CA.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 30-bed community Level-III NICU.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to newborns and their families in our NICU
  • Collaborate with our Maternal-Fetal Medicine and OB Hospitalist practice to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in Pediatrix national quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes
  • Conduct high-risk follow-up clinics and provide teaching opportunities to residents and medical students
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED
  • CA license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
