Brand Strategist

The Brand Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's image and maximizing product potential. This position is responsible for driving strategic creativity, implementing marketing plans, and communicating unique qualities to the world.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy challenges, and be passionate about making a difference. They will lead product and brand launches, drive existing business through effective strategy and execution, and collaborate with all levels and departments of the organization to achieve aggressive growth across the Paris portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business objectives and marketing plans for all Paris brands
- Drive the development and implementation of marketing strategies, including brand positioning, advertising, communication, and strategic partnerships/sponsorships
- Lead content marketing efforts and provide support to advance Paris' strategic initiatives
- Work with all departments and marketing team to develop and produce sales collateral, including research, writing, and editing
- Develop custom marketing and advertising strategies, write pitches, blog posts, and articles, and create designs and layouts
- Check and approve all creative/production materials, copy, layouts, and packaging art
- Identify consumer insights and trends, develop product propositions, and assess market potential to build the innovation pipeline
- Partner with cross-functional teams to quickly commercialize viable new products
- Collaborate with Sales to develop strategic partnership activities with key retail partners, create customized sales presentations, and execute customer-specific marketing plans
- Build relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets
- Monitor and analyze market performance and business results to identify opportunities for growth, define KPIs, and ensure strategies are working and objectives are being realized
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Mentor junior staff
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant brand or product management experience
- High level of curiosity about the marketplace, competitors, consumers, and products
- Intellectual, financial, and analytical horsepower with the ability to apply problem-solving techniques and take on business challenges
- Proven ability to develop category and customer strategies
- Exceptional communication skills-clear and concise, recommending and influencing, storytelling, and presenting
- Willingness not only to learn but to teach and bring fresh thinking to the team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and turn ambiguity into action
- Ability to work effectively and build relationships at all levels of cross-functional teams and 3rd parties
- Ability to accept and apply critiques and/or feedback and take directions
- Ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff
