Job Summary

This key leadership role will oversee the development and implementation of early learning programs and services, as well as build and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement early learning programs and services that align with the agency's mission and goals.
  • Community Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies to advance the agency's mission and goals.
  • Grant Writing and Fundraising: Research and write grants to secure funding for early learning programs and services.
  • Program Evaluation and Quality Improvement: Evaluate the effectiveness of early learning programs and services and make recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and develop a team of early learning professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in early childhood education, education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in early learning management, including grant writing, budgeting, compliance, program development, and advocacy.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to develop effective community partnerships, and excellent leadership and follow-through skills.
Working Conditions

This position requires a valid Washington State driver's license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State. Employment is conditional upon being cleared by a criminal background check and fingerprinting when required.
