Early Childhood Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington. As an Early ECEAP Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a developmentally appropriate early childhood classroom experience for children enrolled in our Early ECEAP program.
Responsibilities:
- Classroom Environment: Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children and staff.
- Curriculum Planning: Plan and provide curriculum through normal care giving routines, promoting learning and development in children.
- Family Support: Provide family support to parents of the children, maintaining open and friendly communication and offering resources and referrals as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Foster positive discipline and communication in the classroom, guiding and sustaining positive interactions between children and adults.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development or Early Childhood Education, or Associates degree in Early Childhood Development with a Professional Development Plan.
- Experience: 3 or more years of experience in teaching birth to 3 years of age in an Early Childhood program.
- Skills: Demonstrate professional and effective verbal and written communication, use of good judgment, basic computer skills, supervision of adults, classroom planning and management skills, and maintenance of confidentiality.
