As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for defining workbook needs, creating missing APQP documents, reviewing existing workbooks for accuracy, and converting them to standardized APQP Excel templates.
Key Responsibilities- Define Workbook Needs: Assess current workbooks per part number to identify what is available and what is missing.
- Create APQP Documents: Develop APQP documents for part numbers lacking proper documentation.
- Review for Accuracy: Examine current workbooks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Standardize and Link: Convert existing workbooks to a standard APQP Excel template, establishing linkage between Flow Charts, Control Plans (CP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Inspection Instructions.
- Evaluate Weld Destruct Road Maps: Evaluate and review weld destruct road maps to ensure they are up-to-date and meet specifications.
- Proficiency in Excel: Proficiency in Excel, including advanced features and functions.
- APQP Knowledge: Strong understanding of APQP processes and documentation.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
