About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet and direct patients to their appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule new and follow-up appointments, including patient testing, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Insurance and Billing: Verify patient insurance information, collect co-pays and deductibles, and reconcile patient payments on a daily basis.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, and communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Three years of recent experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance and government payer regulations, and office billing forms preferred.
