About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions with existing infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams to ensure successful adoption of cloud-based solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features to ensure our solutions are always optimized and efficient.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • 5+ years of technical customer-facing experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and running Java workloads or as a Java Performance engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience with Container Services or Data and Analytics platforms (Spark, Trino, Flink).
  • Experience managing Open Source projects and communities.
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of low-level architectures and successful migration of applications from x86 to Graviton-based instances.
  • Other modern programming languages (Python, C/C++, Go,.Net, Rust, etc), cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development lifecycle tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
