Job Summary:

The Senior Business Systems Architect will serve as liaison between business constituents, internal IT teams, and global companies to ensure alignment of strategic architectural, product development, and business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will translate business concepts and requirements into software solutions and roadmaps, define strategic, system, and functional requirements across various technologies and complex business processes, and utilize an extensive external network to attract talent, develop mid to long-term strategies, and solve complex issues.

The Senior Business Systems Architect will work collaboratively with software engineers, business analysts, and non-technical analysts to translate and include defined requirements into developed solutions, oversee and drive technical and functional application support with third-party vendors, and manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities across multiple functional or technical areas.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serves as liaison between business constituents, internal IT teams, and global companies to ensure alignment of strategic architectural, product development, and business initiatives.
  2. Translates business concepts and requirements into software solutions and roadmaps.
  3. Defines strategic, system, and functional requirements across various technologies and complex business processes.
  4. Utilizes an extensive external network to attract talent, develop mid to long-term strategies, and solve complex issues.
  5. Works collaboratively with software engineers, business analysts, and non-technical analysts to translate and include defined requirements into developed solutions.
  6. Oversees and drives technical and functional application support with third-party vendors.
  7. Manages the software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities across multiple functional or technical areas.
  8. Responsible for training employees or coordinating training in areas of expertise relating to application, database, security, operating systems, or other technical aspects.
  9. Provides support and troubleshooting of highly complex technology solutions.
  10. Determines strategies, methods, and procedures on new assignments and mentors and coordinates activities of other personnel across departments and global companies.
  11. Ensures work is planned, documented, and completed in such a way to comply with established best practices, security requirements, compliance regulations, and internal controls.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business systems architecture, software development, and technical project management, with experience working with global companies and teams. The candidate should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.
