Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives and promoting evidence-based practice across our Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical professional development to identify gaps in caregiver skills and competencies, and develop plans to address these gaps.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality and patient safety data to inform practice changes.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines.
  • Conduct unit rounds to coach and mentor caregivers on evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Two years of experience in clinical, quality, evidence-based practice, and patient safety work.
