Job Title: Supply Chain Management Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Professional to join our team at Inteva Products. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for procuring indirect materials and services in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Assist the Commodity Buyer in procuring indirect materials and services, applying strategic sourcing principles to achieve the best total cost of ownership.
  • Commodity Strategies: Assist the Commodity Buyer in developing, executing, and enhancing commodity strategies for indirect materials and services.
  • Supplier Management: Actively engage in legal document negotiation with suppliers, utilize repositories for accurate document retention, and ensure preferred suppliers have active documentation in the repository.
  • Cost Reduction: Engage in a cost reduction project for assigned commodities, report savings to the Corporate office as part of a capstone project.
  • RFQ Process: Execute comprehensive RFQ processes and support functional users in a timely manner, minimizing risk and maximizing value for Inteva.
  • Capstone Project: Develop a comprehensive walkthrough of activities and projects during the internship and present to the executive committee as a capstone project.
  • General Business Activities: Support general business activities and requirements of functional groups, carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Currently attending a college or university pursuing a degree in business, supply chain, or finance.
  • Experience: Previous relevant internship experience in supply chain/procurement.
  • Skills: Consistent follow-up skills, demonstrated project management abilities, problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to think conceptually, effective interpersonal and team building skills, advanced MS Office skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge of automotive manufacturing, introductory understanding in supply chain, basic knowledge of cost elements and drivers for components related to automotive manufacturing equipment, recent internship experience in procurement of automotive related equipment or components, understanding of legal business contract negotiations and official proposal documents, excellent communication skills with emphasis on formal presentations.
