About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Global Partners LP. As a key member of our Wholesale division, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with our Dealer customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture strong customer contacts and positive, proactive, and profitable business relationships.
  • Solicit new business for supply contracts with brand or unbranded service station dealers and negotiate long-term supply agreements.
  • Monitor and coach dealers on pricing and awareness of competition pricing, ensuring accurate internal reports and competitive information.
  • Counsel customers on retail pricing to maximize business results and validate internal reports.
  • Handle general customer questions and complaints, explain company policies and initiatives, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maximize profitability of each location by utilizing company-provided tools and programs.
  • Work with the dispatch team to handle delivery issues, no-fits, and emergency loads.
  • Counsel customers on the benefits of automatic delivery and ordering, and communicate with dispatch to maximize delivery options.
  • Manage dealer changes, assignments, sales, and franchise agreements, ensuring timely submission of required documentation.
  • Cold calling and continuous market development, including conducting site surveys and ensuring signage and point-of-sale materials are updated and maintained.
  • Work with the credit team to set up new accounts and maintain existing accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to solicit new business relationships with Dealer customers.
  • Coach customers to effectively price their product for retail.
  • Ability to work independently but collaborate, initiate, and execute sales and supply agreements.
  • Positive, entrepreneurial mindset, consistent desire to grow, and be part of a team focused on continuous improvement and results-driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with 3 years of site-level or marketing business operations experience, demonstrated project management skills, and ability to develop strategy, budget, and brand management.
  • Effective time management and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to make decisions, firm, outgoing, analytical, anticipate and solve problems, excellent communication skills, and positive leadership ability.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office.
