Accounts Payable Director

Green Rock Strategies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our accounts payable department in Charleston, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining effective relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise the accounts payable team, including training, performance management, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments to maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function where needed.
- Monitor accounts payable aging reports and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper coding and approval of all invoices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles and practices.
- Proficient with accounting software and ERP systems preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
