Position Summary:

This bilingual case management role focuses on delivering anti-oppressive, strength-based, and culturally relevant support to Latine survivors of sexual trafficking violence. The position operates within our transitional housing program funded by Multnomah County (HUD Horizon). In addition to providing rental assistance, the program offers ongoing case management and advocacy, guiding participants through the intricate social service landscape toward self-sufficiency.

  • Deliver case management and support services to Latine survivors of sexual assault and trafficking.
  • Manage a caseload of 8-10 clients.
  • Evaluate clients' situations and develop personalized safety and action plans.
  • Advocate for clients with external agencies and government systems (e.g., Courts, Social Security, Immigration, DMV, DHS).
  • Engage in community meetings with other service organizations to enhance visibility as a resource for Latine survivors.
  • Assist clients in meeting their basic needs while maintaining accurate financial records for reporting.
  • Organize and update resource materials for survivors of sexual violence and trafficking.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as required, including coverage for a 24-hour bilingual crisis line.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Participate actively in team projects and meetings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in social services; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 40-hour DV/SA Advocacy training is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
  • Completion of Assertive Engagement training within 30 days of hire.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Experience in case management and intervention services.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting the Latine community, particularly those related to sexual violence and trafficking.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
  • Willingness to learn about community partnerships and supportive service provision.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to EPHC's mission of partnering with vulnerable populations to create lasting solutions to poverty and injustice.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for job-related travel.
  • Ability to pass background checks as required.

Compensation: $26.00/hr
