Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students with communication challenges in an educational setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills, and be committed to fostering a supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for diverse communication needs.
  • Provide SLPA services in accordance with IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Speech Language Language Assistant (SLPA) License.
