Constellation Energy Generation, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Center Operator to join our team. As a Security Operations Center Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and remedying intrusion detection alarms, dispatching law enforcement and first responders to security incidents, and answering and prioritizing incoming emergency and routine security event calls. You will also be responsible for logging personnel into substations, logging and managing the status of site intrusion systems, and writing incident reports documenting security incidents. Additionally, you will be required to make notifications and maintain shift activity logs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security systems and be able to work effectively under high stress situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and remediate intrusion detection alarms
- Answer, prioritize, and respond to telephonic security incident reporting
- Manage and log site entry/exit system disarm events
- Submit service requests for corrective maintenance of security systems, perform service ticket validation
- Perform and document system checks and video tours
- Perform forensic investigative support of video and access control records
- Perform administrative SOC tasks
Requirements:
- AA degree, or High School or GED with 2 years of Security System or IT experience
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to write grammatically correct and stylistically appropriate business communications
- Ability to work effectively under high stress situations, to rapidly assess and respond to life safety and security incidents
