Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Associate to join our team at Claiborne Medical Center. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Processing: Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet patient needs.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Communication: Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in healthcare materials management preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or supply chain environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
