Elite School Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with behavioral challenges, fostering their academic growth, and empowering them to reach their full potential.

As a Behavior Interventionist, you will collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans. You will work directly with students, providing targeted strategies and activities designed to improve their behavior and enhance their learning experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with educators and specialists to create comprehensive behavior intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct support to students, implementing evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging activities that foster self-regulation, social skills, and academic success.
  • Collaborate with families to provide guidance and support in managing student behavior at home and school.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
  • Train and mentor staff on effective strategies for supporting students with behavioral challenges.
Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to student success. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field, such as School Psychology, Education, or Counseling.
  • Experience working with students with behavioral challenges and disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support (PBS), Functional Behavior Analysis (FBA), and behavior intervention planning.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students.
