We are currently seeking a Recreation Activities Manager to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents through engaging activities and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the planning and management of resident-centered activities.
  • Design, organize, and implement programs that promote physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual engagement for our residents.
  • Participate in all community events, ensuring smooth coordination from inception to conclusion, including setup, execution, and teardown.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of an event calendar.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and alternate weekends, to accommodate scheduled activities.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Associate's Degree in social work, recreation, sociology, psychology, or a related discipline.
  • One to three years of experience in assisted living or long-term care, particularly with memory care residents, is preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate older adults.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Excellent organizational, delegation, and consensus-building skills.
