Job Summary

The Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) plays a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to patients in the Urgent Care environment. This position requires a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional who can work independently and collaboratively with emergency physicians to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides comprehensive medical evaluations for Urgent Care patients.
  • Coordinates outside consults for surgical, internal medicine, cardiac, and pulmonary services.
  • Orders and evaluates pertinent diagnostic exams.
  • Interprets diagnostic studies and communicates with radiologists.
  • Participates in Hospital QAPI and contributes to Urgent Care QAPI process.
  • Trains and organizes Urgent Care staff.
Requirements
  • Masters prepared graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
  • CNP, ANP, FNP, or PA certification.
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
