Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Housekeeping Team: Supervise and motivate the housekeeping staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Inspect and Clean Rooms: Inspect and clean multiple rooms each day to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop the housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Assist with Laundry Operations: Assist with laundry operations, including inventory, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Support Maintenance Team: Support the maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective, or missing items.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Requirements:

  • Previous Housekeeping Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management, or healthcare is preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively lead and motivate the housekeeping team.
  • Physical Demands: This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
  • Availability: Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
