Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a key member of our Interventional Suites, you will provide technical assistance to physicians and ensure the efficient operation of our imaging department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Interventional Suite
  • Demonstrate proficiency with various equipment, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and control panels
  • Prepare patients and rooms for exams, managing wires and other components
  • Perform circulator duties, including pulling supplies and communicating with patients and families
  • Provide patient care and ensure patient safety throughout exams
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or graduate from an accredited Radiological Technology Program
  • 2 years of Radiology Tech experience in an acute setting
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Interventional Technologist
  • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) with the Texas Medical Board
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
