GTMC is a central People eXperience and Technology (PXT) team responsible for creating and evolving Amazon's human capital and talent products and processes.

The GTMC MARS team is an interdisciplinary team within GTMC that develops evidence-based products and services to power the growth and development of Amazon's talent across all of its businesses and locations around the world.

MARS exists to propel GTMC and Amazon towards being the most scientific HR organization on earth. Our mission is to use science to assist and measurably improve every talent decision made at Amazon.

We are looking for a dynamic teammate to join our team and drive MARS Data Architecture and Business Operations forward.

About the Role
  • Drive process improvements and full-cycle program management from conception and design through implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Science leaders to execute on existing mechanisms and build new approaches and service-delivery implementation plans for MARS products and services.
  • SUPPORT business operations mechanisms including monthly PXT metrics reviews and Science team business reviews with senior PXT leadership and analytics teams.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
