Project Controls/System Administrator Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager and Technical Lead to drive the success of our project controls and system administration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers and analysts in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and tools.
  • Monitor technical excellence, assure the quality of delivered products, and resolve user questions and issues in a timely manner.
  • Establish priorities, meet with subordinates, and review project status and job-related responsibilities.
  • Organize staff assignments, set goals, and determine responsibilities and make specific assignments to individuals and teams.
  • Monitor productivity, conduct performance evaluations, and recommend hiring, promotions, and training.
  • Develop and deliver training to the project controls organization on new tools, applications, and refresher activities.

Required Skills:

  • BS in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field, and 10-12 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Proven experience with Power BI and reporting services.
  • SQL and Reporting Services experience is required.
  • Web Development skills and VBA Programming.
  • Strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.
  • Written and oral communication skills for a leadership position.

Desired Skills:

  • Python software experience.
  • Familiarity with Costpoint.
  • Database development and management experience.
  • Functional knowledge and experience working with stored procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting and strong business sense.
