Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional optical experience to our guests by combining their knowledge, skills, and personality with the guests' needs and our high-quality fashion brands. This role involves cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and providing personalized recommendations for lenses and frames.

Main Responsibilities
  • Consistently meet sales targets and company objectives through effective customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring a perfect vision solution for our guests.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are attractive and well-presented.
  • Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect and dignity.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-motivation and ability to multi-task, with a flexible approach to a quickly changing environment.
